Itinerary Travel Map
-CBD and Suburb
Dear nice little Perth! My trip is started from here, and about after many months I miss this place that still remained it in my heart! I spent a wonderful experiences, and more I explored it and more I liked this polyglot city!
In this city (like Brisbane) the sun, good weather and stable temperatures, are king most of the year.
Huge beaches, enjoying fullest of many activities and events that are organized every day.
How much is Perth
Depends! I found some prices a bit inflated, like some foods, but once you understand the most convenient locations are, doesn’t become a problem.
Like many girls, I like sometimes to do shopping, and I found some CBD shops, high quality clothing and very cheapest.
In the city you have the opportunity to take a lot of public transport, such as in CBD there is CAT bus, a free service of buses.
Where would I want to go back
There are two places that I really liked.
The first one, is definitely Rottnest Island. An unspoiled island not far away from Perth. White sandy beaches and sea colors are paradisiac!
A little tips, make the tour of the island with bicycle, you can fullest enjoy the beauty of the island, stopping occasionally to doing selfie with quokkas (a little kangaroo that live on this island) and snorkeling in one of the hundreds bays, where you can find a lot of beautiful fish that swim in coral reefs.
The second place where I would to go back is Rockingham beach. Is not very busy, great services (bathrooms, BBQ, parks) the wind is not strong like the other beaches and you can walk quietly in the warm crystal water for 600 meters from the beach.
Tips and curiosity
- Public transport: are excellent and also very efficient, you can find many applications on your phone that helping to move in the city, like maps, timetable, etc. but also in the website Transperth that you’ll find clicking here. If don’t use the CAT bus (like mentioned earlier) you need to do more attention to the prices! It’s really quick spend 50 AUD in just over a week with Smartrider.
- Alchool: in Australia there’s a strict law about the alchool, which controls and minimizes the consumption, especially in pubs or discos or in public places, so be careful 😉
